11:15 – 11:45: Gerco Kanbier – Independent information security guru
Illustrated with two specific examples Gerco will explain how to apply the GDPR.

1.How to manage the supply chain liability?
Nowadays every company works with suppliers, which means that data is no longer in-house. Unknown to many companies and suppliers, is that the company remains responsible for the data hosted by a third party, the supplier. As a supplier, it is important to realize where the responsibility lies but also what must be arranged to be GDPR compliant.

2.How to protect a submitted support ticket that contains personal information?
A submitted ticket by a customer, to your support team, contains most of the time information that is sensitive personal information. This data however is accessible to the entire organization as the issue should be resolved as quickly and as best as possible. So how do you secure a ticket that contains privacy data?

11:45 – 12:15: Wesley Haakman – Azure & Security Architect @Intercept

12:45 – 13:15: Martin Vliem – Security Officer @Microsoft
The promises and services provided by Microsoft to Cloud customers
Data – the new gold for businesses – must be protected. To ensure optimum security, companies must be able to identify and classify their data on importance and privacy sensitivity. Using the tooling provided by Microsoft, companies can check where the data is used for and setup the necessary security levels. This makes it possible to prevent a data breach, but also to see where the attack comes from.
